Here are some FAQs about this service:
What should I expect from my virtual application appointment?
-We will walk you through each step of the application process and answer all of your coloring questions in this 30 min appointment. We know that for many, you are coloring your hair at home for the first time and know that you may have some concerns around coloring on your own. One of our expert colorists will be there with you, step by step.
Do I need a computer? Can I use my phone?
-We recommend using a device that you can prop up in a safe place to avoid having to maneuver during the process. We don’t want to get color on your devices. Downloading the Madison Reed app will give the most optimized experience.
How should I prepare for the appointment?
-We highly recommend you do a sensitivity test 48 hours before you begin coloring your hair at home. Wash your hair 24 hours in advance—next-day hair is best for coloring. Before you start, be sure you have everything you need in front of you. Make sure you are in a well lit room and somewhere with enough counter space for your items (we recommend a bathroom)
Open up the Kit and make sure everything is included. Our checklist: Your Madison Reed Hair Color Kit, an old towel (in case of spills), hair ties or clips (for sectioning), wide-tooth comb (to pull color through), an old button-down or smock (wear anything you don't mind staining).
